about

I had a song on a Current 93 tribute cd (I did a cover of Judas As Black Moth). Afterwards, I sold a lot of cds in Europe, and was asked to appear on a lot of compilations. Mostly neo-folk/industrial comps...it was a little tricky picking through all the fascist themed labels, and the labels run by actual fascists (I did not want songs on those). One in particular focused on the militaristic end of the spectrum, and I did this great reconstruction of a North Korean children's anthem. But they didn't want noisey, they wanted acoustic guitars and vocals. So I wrote this song, as that I don't really sound like Death In June. They passed on it, but I still liked it. A beautiful failure, though not my best track.
